I can't believe we're at this point lol. I watched Kopi since he clowned Pronger on his first goal haha. I'm not a Kopi hater but damn, I wish he was in the Jamie Benn deployment territory. I'm glad Dustin Brown isn't part of this shitshow anymore or else i'd sour on my favorite King.

No trades yet?

Is it time to discuss firing Holland?
He must be catching waves and playing volleyball with his new best friends.

It’s quite astonishing that it’s not being discussed already. Maybe this board is maturing.

You're right, it was totally unreasonable for people to be calling for a GM who didn't win a playoff series in 8 years to be fired.

Any sane and reasonable fan is giving a GM at least a decade before he accomplishes something as monumental and historic as winning a playoff series.

Nice to see a GM that might actually be looking to address the biggest need on the roster.

The Kings only realistic path to contending is to bring in a guy like Marner as an UFA and hope that being freed from the toxic environment of Toronto lets him reach another level. Maybe in LA where he's not recognized on the streets and he's being called "Mitchy" or "Marns" in the only interviews he will give will open a new level for him.

I am not saying it's going to happen, but upgrading the top of the roster should be Holland's first priority, and nobody better than Marner is going to be available on the market.

Not that all the pending UFAs for 2026 will actually hit the market, but it is very Kings that next year could be insane while this year's prize is a guy that is the current poster child for playoff choking, player version of course.

Hiller is the coaching version.

Unfortunately enough, little mitchy marner would be a PERFECT kings player. Turtles and hides from physicality, appearently incapable of toughness, good regular season player that completely disappears in the playoffs. He'll cost alot and fit right in.

I agree.

I do think Marner is at the top of the list for a lot, but as a two-way player with skill and tempo, he'd be a good fit that doesn't cost futures. It might also be a nice change for him.

He has 63 points in 70 playoff games. Do you fact check ANYTHING you post?

i said in the other thread I don't mind the idea of mitch

buuut if that's the only move we're f***ed because the problem isn't solely 'more offense'
I hope Holland starts before draft and exploretrade route first, Wait on Gavrikov if he asking (sure he is) at least a $7x7 Then first thing I'd like see is getting more Mobility and gets some offensive punch on the left side of the defense. I'd call on Byram , but imagine price might be bit too much, K'Andre would be on List had 43 points couple year back and will be hitting his Prime soon.

I just have a feeling Holland is going to make a splash at the draft, whether it's for a player(s) or for someone's rights
