Yeah, they had him at #16, a single spot ahead of Forsberg, 5 ahead of Jagr and only 2 and 3 behind Bossy and Lafleur.
Yzerman came in at #31
They also had Lemieux ahead of Howe.
Suffice to say...

And not to give into the whole bias thing we've been through recently but to be fair, the omission of Fetisov, Tretiak and Makarov while Fedorov is the highest ranking Russian and there are only 2 others in the entire list in Mogilny and Bure...yeah, you'll have to excuse me if I don't give this list a whole lot of respect heh
a pretty hilarious list. markus naslund at 90, no bryan trottier. i'm guessing they just forgot about him being that bossy is #14 and potvin is #23, but still...
even in the context of recent players, ciccarelli and andreychuk over modano, savard, and goulet. also ciccarelli and andreychuk over robitaille, who was the same kind of player in the same era, and neither the stats nor the eye test come close to making that defensible.
but pavel bure > chris chelios i can get behind, hehe.
i did a little googling and apparently the list was compiled by barry melrose, ray ferraro, and darren pang on hockey2night. list seems to date from '04.
but anyway, the real reason i came to this thread is to say i just took a cursory look at the centers list so far and while i have a few minor quibbles about guys maybe being ahead of or behind other guys within 5 spots of them, overall it looks pretty right to me. nice job guys.
