It’s fine. I’ve been in the Bay Area through every tech wave, every homeless crunch lol…new young people heading out here…it’s both over and underrated for different things out here. But I can afford to live here and I hate hot weather. Today was 65 here. Like 100 in Europe. I appreciate not having to suffer through too many heat waves lol

Metropol? Not often. The Goth Night (Ceremony) was at Laga back in the day.

Seems like they always had the "goth adjacent" bands like Type O Negative. Looking at some old Club Laga stubs/posters(sigh), I was surprised they were around until 2004. It seemed like up until I left for the army in 2003 most of the punk shows were at the upstage/attic.

They might be less soulless than a multi-billion dollar corporation, but they are for sure less rich.

Time will tell how it plays out, but definitely a bit nervous they will eventually cut corners to save money. Might not necessarily be how much of the cap they are willing to spend, but all the other stuff FSG built out was good IMO. Didn't really translate to on ice success yet, but I think that was more to do with where they are in the cycle with Sid-Geno than the direction they were moving.
