Just not a very good team
full of not very good players

Admire the heart grit gumption whatever you want to call it for this group but really a proper tumble down the standings in 2025 is what this franchise needs the most. I can't cheer for it personally but the results this season are mostly arbitrary for me. It would be a minor miracle just to make the 2nd round.

Also Wolf should be used as the #1 going forward. We're halfway through the season. One goalie has been better than the other one, like what are we doing here?

Before anyone says his pre-season injury derailed the beginning of his season, that was back in October, so why the f*** is Sharangovich so bloody useless?
Still managed to lead all Flames forwards in ice time so there's that lol

Either he's regressed hard or he's playing through something and will need surgery at the end of the season a la Mangiapane

Both the first and fourth goals were soft on Vladar. Why does he keep getting half the starts other than the fact he’s a veteran? I don’t get it. He sucks. Always has.

Might ruin wolf if they play him too much because ya know load management or something. The evidence is in the fact they split him with vladar!

I think the run of unfavourable reffing really put the boys on tilt in the second period. Zary's goal notwithstanding, the Hockey Club were being allowed through the defence way too easily because the Flames were running around trying to vent frustration. They hemmed the Flames in countless times and were able to find back-door looks way too often. I thought Vladar actually played well considering.

This kind of reminded me of the season opener except the Flames didn't manage to make a significant push once they were behind. Similar vibe of everyone being mad at the refs and getting away from their game because of it.

Reading this last page, sounds eerily familiar to Team Canada.
Yesterday was a tough day all around.

Dan Vladar wasn't great last night.
Also the team was very porous and made life pretty easy for Utah. I feels like Kipper-itis, where the Flames always left backups out to dry when Kipper was getting his rest days. I think Wolf provides a comfort for the team there, where they play much better as a unit with him in net for the most part.
