I think the hope is that they WILL eventually have careers like theirs, and the thousands they spent today can be cashed in for tends or even hundreds of thousands in 10-15 years. Look at the price of the Ovechkin patch/auto above sold for ($381K).

That price seems way over-inflated to me. It's seems like an impulsive purchase by some super rich guy. Doesn't mean the card is really worth that price. It's not even a true rookie card (only an /10) and not graded very highly.

Only took like 6 months for them to say who the player was for this redemption

Now just another 3-5 months until I actually get the card!!!

It means print dot. It's super small on the wax finish. probably would have been a 9 if it didn't have it.

What is PD?

Older cards that come from wax paper wrappers with gum inside will have common errors on the cards from the printing and manufacturing process. Print dot is one, fish eye is another.

I think the fact that it's the jersey number 8 of 8 and it graded an 8, the buyers fell in love with it.

All true RPAs in this release come in a sealed slab with a unique QR code on the label that takes you to a website with all of the card info.

For sure it's one of the 3 best probably for this year like i'm not mad about it. Not a fan of goalies cards for whatever reason and i already got the /65 Artifact Wolf rookie anyway.

People buying Bedard cards at those prices must like lighting money on fire. He'd have to be McDavid good to justify those prices. You can get an equivalent MacKinnon card for half of Bedard's current prices.
