It;s constant he's so this and so that.......................we got it loud and clear the first dozen times Craig.

This was really obvious in the Summer Showcase, where every second word out of his mouth was praise for Caulfield or Broberg.

You were higher on them than most Craig, we get it. Showering Caulfield with praise isn't going to change the fact you had him ranked too high at 4th OVR.

Just tuned in to watch the third has Canada been this much better all game. Because rn its clear to me Canada is above and beyond the better team in every aspect. Skill wise talent wise. Russians are fast to their credit.

Well GG to Russia. I only got to see the last 12 minutes and kudos to Askarov for standing on his head.

Well, goaltending was clearly the difference but I won't give askarov all the credit, the team in front of him played smart and composed and the shots he had to face were mostly stoppable shots a capable goalie should stop, they were a good team overall.

Canada waited way too long to start playing intense desperate hockey, very disapointed with this team today that way.

Then a second one. Love when European rules are used, chincy calls all tournament, and then all of a sudden blatant cross checks from behind are allowed because there are 2 minutes left.

Credit to the Russians though, they held on and Askarov came as advertised. Came up with several big saves in the left couple minutes especially.

Unfortunate for Canada to run into a goaltender like this. This game wouldnt be close without him. Likely last international gold any of these russians will see poor group outside a few players and the goalie. This Canadian crop with Lafrenniere included is gonna be filled with NHL superstars for Canada. Future looks bright cant complain. Can't win them all they can settle for 9/10 in the past 10 years.

Canada played very well.

No shame in the way they lost today, battled to the very last second.

It was a great game and legendary performance by Askarov. Such is the nature of junior hockey.

This was a fantastic hockey game. Congrats again to Russia on their win today.
