Post-Game Talk: Hiller vs Kings Game 4

I have no idea what to say. This is some of the worst coaching I’ve ever seen and the worst part is how arrogant Hiller is. Could have swept the Oilers easily yet Hiller decided against it.

1. Dresses four lines, only plays three. Exhausts the players and makes them lose.

2. Sits back 3rd period 2 games in a row and easily loses the game.

3. Has seen sitting back against the oilers never works, does it anyways.


Some unbelievable sabotage that it almost feels intentional. Well i say it does.

It's loser mentality from the top down. This franchise is content on getting into the playoffs and believe that anything can happen. If they lose, oh well, it's the playoffs, what are you gonna do? They've tried nothing and they're all out of ideas.

Not much else to say. The Oilers have like 3 goals this series without McDavid and/or Draisaitl factoring into the scoring, and they still haven't figured out how to contain them unless they can line match.

Yea I was thinking that the players need to take matters into their own hands. The thing is when Maclellan gets interviewed about it he makes it seem like the directions were coming from management. Is Hiller running Blakes plan or is this his own doing? If they collapse and blow this it will go down in history as one of the worst coaching performances in a playoff series in any sport and Kings fans will surely never forget it.

That brings up the question, if Hiller is not playing 5 players because he doesn't trust them, how was this not addressed at the deadline? Is Hiller not communicating with BLuc?

The difference between this year and last is this year is winnable. I'm having a hard time counting them out since they so clearly CAN be the better team but it's just baffling what's going on. Hiller acting arrogant isn't helping my temper either.
