Hi there Finnish contingent. I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I was looking at Wild prospects and, while viewing Kiviharju, I noticed that the highest scoring defenseman on HIFK, by far, is a 6'2" defensive defenseman from America, Luke Martin. Well, "defensive defenseman" is how he was described in his draft year, at least.
Can any of you give me insight into this guy's game? How is a player who is considered to have poor offensive skills tearing it up? Is it just a good situation for him, or has he developed considerably since his 24 year old season? Are his skills, skating, and defensive game good enough that he should get another NHL chance?
Thanks! And if this is the wrong spot for this discussion, sorry.
