voted Parker, but could easily have gone Pionk. Parker is RH, Pionk LH, so went with the position of need.

Pionk is wildly underrated here, I think he will have a big year.
I think he will too, he's definitely got skill enough for the NCAA. For me, the only question is if he'll develop enough by the time he's 25 to make it to the NHL. He may be in only his sophomore season this year, but remember, he's already 21 and will be 22 before the season is over.

this can't be ignored, if comparing him to fellow 2023 draftee, Parker. Pionk is an overager, and almost 2 years older than Parker.

Topo - think his potential is nearly as high as anyone else left, and the closest to the NHL.

Parker and Masters are pretty close - will be interesting to see where Parker slots in next year and if Masters can play majority of the year in the AHL.
