- Highlights from last week's closing is shown featuring Cole/Disclose, and Fro defending the title against Falco.
MATCH 1 - @Fro (c) vs. @Scandale du Jour (w/ @KIRK, @ColePens & @UnrealMachine) - HFWF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
- Fro's shoulder is taped up heavily from last week's match. Fro is eyeing Penguins Wrecking Crew on the floor, sensing danger. They go for a lockup, but the tenacious Scandale du Jour quickly side steps and targets the shoulder of Fr. He hammers away and pummels at the shoulder of Fro, and throws Fro shoulder first into the corner. Scandale works away at the shoulder, punching and driving his head into it. He twists and wrenches the arm and hits a shoulder block to the shoulder of Fro. Scandale continues wrenching and twisting the shoulder. Scandale climbs up to the top rope and scales it, like Old School, but Fro pulls Scandale off and takes him down to the mat to a pop. Fro shakes the shoulder and he hits a running hip attack on Scandale in the corner. Scandale bounces out and Fro hits a running big boot, knocking Scandale through the ropes and to the floor. Scandale kicks the steps in anger as The Penguins Wrecking Crew calms him down.
- Scandale regroups and slowly re-enters the ring. Test of strength, but Scandale tries for the shoulder again, but Fro side steps. Fro dropkicks the back of Scandale and knocks him into the ropes and follows up with a Saito suplex, but only gets a two count. Fro stomps at Scandale in the corner and works over him for a bit in the corner. He pulls him out and attempts a suplex, but Scandale slips through. Scandale pushes Fro off the ropes and
SCANDALE LOOKS FOR A QUICK FINISH, LOOKING FOR A POPUP POWERBOMB BUT FRO LEAPFROGS OVER SCANDALE AND LANDS ON HIS FEET! Scandale charges but Fro side steps and tosses Scandale through the ropes and to the floor. The Penguins Wrecking Crew checks on Scandale, but
FRO RUNS OFF THE ROPES AND HE DIVES THROUGH AND WIPES OUT SCANDALE, UNREAL AND KIRK WITH A SUICIDE DIVE TO A BIG POP! ColePens had side stepped it and watched it all go down. Fro pops up and poses for the crowd to a big pop. He turns and sees ColePens. Fro and ColePens stare each other down and ColePens talks trash, saying Fro got lucky he still has that championship. Fro rolls Scandale into the ring and goes for the cover but Scandale kicks out.
- Fro grabs Scandale by the arm and he looks to be setting up for it. Fro looks for the Rainmaker, but Scandale dodges.
SCANDALE HITS A SUPERKICK ON FRO! Fro is staggered, and
SCANDALE LIFTS FRO UP IN A FISHERMAN'S SUPLEX POSITION, BUT SCANDALE DROPS FRO'S NECK ON HIS KNEE! "Oooooh's" from the crowd as Scandale goes for the cover, but Fro kicks out at two. Scandale controls the arm and now locks on a wrench to put pressure on the shoulder. Scandale has Fro grounded, but Fro is trying to fight out of it and preserve his shoulder as best he can. Scandale keeps Fro grounded. Fans try to will Fro on, who works his way up and elbows Scandale to let the hold go, but
SCANDALE LIFTS FRO UP FOR A BACK SUPLEX AND DROPS HIM WITH A FACEBUSTER! Cover gets a two count! Scandale mounts Fro and hammers away at him with punches. Scandale sits Fro up and talks trash, so Fro slaps him in the face. Scandale goes for a kick to the face, but Fro dodges and
FRO ROLLS SCANDALE UP, BUT SCANDALE KICKS OUT AT TWO! Both men pop up and Scandale charges at Fro, but Fro side steps and Scandale goes chest first into the corner and Fro immediately follows up with a running shoulder block into the lower back of Scandale! Fro lifts Scandale up in a seated position on the top and has Scandale down in a tree of woe now. Fro talks trash to UnrealMachine and ColePens before charging out of the opposite corner and looks for a running dropkick to Scandale in the tree of woe, but Scandale sits up! Fro crashes as he hits the bottom turnbuckle. Fro pops up and Scandale hits him with a back kick.
SCANDALE JUMPS OFF AND PLANTS FRO ON HIS HEAD WITH A TORNADO DDT! Scandale quickly follows up, he climbs back up to the top,
AND SCANDALE DU JOUR CONNECTS WITH A MOONSAULT ON FRO! THE FANS POP, SCANDALE FOR THE COVER, BUT FRO GETS THE SHOULDER UP AT THE LAST MOMENT!
- Scandale is irate as his mouth is wide open and he slaps the mat in anger. Scandale pulls Fro up and yells, "you're not better than me!" Scandale hits Fro with a hard right that knocks Fro down. Scandale pulls him up again and he talks more trash and hits him with another right. Scandale does this repeatedly, talking trash in between each shots. Scandale now runs off the ropes and
SCANDALE LOOKS FOR A RUNNING SENTON, BUT FRO ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY! FRO WITH A CRUCIFIX PIN, BUT SCANDALE KICKS OUT AT TWO! Both men are up and
FRO DROPS SCANDALE WITH A BEAUTIFULLY EXECUTED DROPKICK! Fro pops up and he's signalling for the end, but
UnrealMachine pops up on the apron! Fro clocks UnrealMachine with a right that knocks him to the floor, but UnrealMachine no sells it as he lands on his feet and looks up in the ring at Fro. Fro and UnrealMachine stare each other down.
ColePens pops up on the apron now! Fro and ColePens stare each other down now before Fro charges and attempts a running big boot, but ColePens jumps down.
UnrealMachine is back up on the apron, and the referee now handles with UnrealMachine and tries talking him down.
While the referee's back is turned, KIRK slides brass knuckles to Scandale du Jour!
- The fans boo as Scandale puts the brass knuckles on. UnrealMachine climbs down and Fro turns back to Scandale...
AND SCANDALE HITS FRO IN THE HEAD WITH THE BRASS KNUCKLES! The fans boo big time as Fro is knocked down and Scandale quickly slides the brass knuckles back to KIRK.
"NOT THIS WAY!" shouts Mauro Ranallo on commentary.
Scandale pulls Fro up... OFF THE ROPES, AND SCANDALE DROPS FRO WITH A POP UP SITOUT POWERBOMB!!! Scandale decides to climb up to the top turnbuckle, he's setting up for the
Frog Splash! Scandale is standing on the top...
BUT @Disclose MUSIC HITS TO A BIG POP! DISCLOSE, @Brudda AND @PeterSidorkiewicz WALK OUT AND STAND ON THE STAGE, AND STASH THE MONKEY RUNS DOWN AND HE RUNS UNDER THE RING TO GET ACROSS TO KIRK! ColePens is seething as he sees Disclose at the top of the stage, UnrealMachine tries to calm him down. The distraction allows
FRO TO GET TO HIS FEET AND HE JOINS SCANDALE UP TOP! Fro and Scandale exchange rights and lefts, but Fro gets the advantage.
FRO SETS UP FOR A SUPER FISHERMAN'S SUPLEX, BUT SCANDALE IS BLOCKING, AND SUDDENLY... SCANDALE LIFTS FRO UP AND DROPS HIM WITH AN AVALANCHE FISHERMAN'S SUPLEX OFF THE TOP ROPE! WOOOOOW! SCANDALE CRAWLS ON TOP OF FRO... BUT FRO SOMEHOW GETS THE SHOULDER UP AT THE VERY, VERY LAST MOMENT! UNBELIEVABLE!
- The fans are going wild now, and suddenly,
DISCLOSE, BRUDDA AND PETERSIDORKIEWICZ RUN DOWN AND A BRAWL STARTS HAPPENING! COLEPENS IS GOING AT IT WITH DISCLOSE WHILE UNREALMACHINE IS DEALING WITH PETER AND BRUDDA, WHILE KIRK IS RUNNING AWAY FROM THE MONKEY AND CLIMBING ON TOP OF THE ANNOUNCE TABLE TO GET AWAY FROM STASH! KIRK is crying blood murder as he's trying to throw the commentary notes at Stash to distract him. Scandale is distracted by all this happening. He turns around and
FRO HITS A BIG BOOT ON SCANDALE! Scandale staggers...
AND FRO KNOCKS SCANDALE DOWN WITH A CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL! Fro pulls Scandale up, he has wrist control...
RAINMAKERRRRR! FRO HITS A SECOND AND HE HITS A THIRD RAINMAKER!!!! FRO WITH A FISHERMAN'S SUPLEX TO FOLLOW UP, AND FRO IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWS UP AND CLIMBS UP TOP... MACHO MAN ELBOW DROP ON SCANDALE!!! FRO FOR THE COVER... AND FRO RETAINS! WHAT A MATCH!
RESULT: Fro (c) def. Scandale du Jour to retain the title @ 17:00.
Post-match: Fro pops up and celebrates with the HFWF Title. UnrealMachine realizes what's happened, and he throws Peter and Brudda away and runs into the ring, but Fro quickly escapes! Fro backs up the ramp and he holds the HFWF Title up! Back in the ring, the brawl continues, as Brudda, Peter and UnrealMachine go at it while Disclose and ColePens are fighting outside.
COLEPENS THROWS DISCLOSE INTO THE STEEL RING STEPS! ColePens into the ring, and ColePens tells the referee to stay in the ring and
COLEPENS IS GOING AFTER BRUDDA NOW! ColePens is pummeling away at Brudda. The brawl continues as we go to commercial.
MATCH 2 -- ColePens (w/UnrealMachine,Scandale du Jour,KIRK) vs. Brudda (w/Disclose, PeterSidorkiewicz, Stash the Monkey)
-- Joined in progress and ColePens is pummeling away at Brudda in the corner. ColePens is viciously assaulting Brudda and tells Disclose to take a good look at his future. ColePens repeatedly rams Brudda shoulder first into the ring post. ColePens chop blocks the knee of Brudda and starts stomping away at it. ColePens rams the knee of Brudda into the ring post repeatedly. ColePens pulls Brudda out, he clutches at Brudda's leg and he drops it on the steel ring steps! Brudda tries pushing ColePens away, but ColePens is viciously assaulting him, showing a new mean streak we haven't seen in a while after being embarrassed last week. ColePens repeatedly yells "DISCLOSE DID THIS TO YOU!" ColePens rams Brudda face first into the ring post and now traps Brudda's leg in between the ring steps and ring post and
COLEPENS KICKS THE STEEL STEPS, CRUSHING BRUDDA'S KNEE IN BETWEEN THE STEPS AND RING POST! ColePens has a sick, sadistic smirk on his face as he repeatedly crushes Brudda's leg in between the ring post and steps and stares across the ring at Disclose and talks trash. ColePens rolls Brudda into the ring...
COLEPENS SETS UP FOR THE FIGURE FOUR LEG LOCK, BUT BRUDDA PUSHES HIM AWAY WITH HIS GOOD LEG! ColePens is having none of it, he repeatedly stomps hard into the chest of Brudda, and then elbow drops Brudda repeatedly. ColePens drops elbow drops on the bad knee of Brudda, and
COLEPENS NOW LOCKS ON THE FIGURE FOUR LEG LOCK!!! BRUDDA IS SCREAMING OUT IN PAIN... AND HE QUICKLY TAPS OUT! BRUDDA FEELS THE WRATH OF COLEPENS AFTER LAST WEEK!

Post-match: ColePens keeps the figure four leg lock locked in as Brudda is tapping ferociously.
DISCLOSE RUNS IN TO TRY AND BREAK IT UP, BUT UNREALMACHINE RUNS IN AND CUTS DISCLOSE OFF WITH A SPEAR!!! Peter runs into the ring, but
SCANDALE DU JOUR, FRUSTRATED FROM HIS LOSS TO FRO, HITS PETER WITH A SUPERKICK! UnrealMachine peels Disclose up...
F5!!! Scandale du Jour throws PeterSidorkiewicz out to the floor and repeatedly throws him into the steel ring steps. Scandale du Jour is going crazy, yelling obscenities in French at PeterSidorkiewicz before pulling him up for a powerbomb.
SCANDALE RUNS AND RAMS PETER BACK FIRST INTO THE STEEL RING POST AND THEN DROPS HIM ON THE EDGE OF THE APRON!!! At this point, Stash the Monkey has wisely gotten out of the dodge and is watching all this transpire from the top of the stage, with his hands on his head in disbelief. On the floor still, UnrealMachine picks up the steel ring steps...
COLEPENS HOLDS UP DISCLOSE AND UNREALMACHINE RAMS THE STEEL RING STEPS INTO DISCLOSE'S FACE! UnrealMachine pulls the base of the ring steps away from the post.
COLEPENS PULLS DISCLOSE TO STAND ON TOP OF THE BASE OF THE RING STEPS ON THE FLOOR... AND COLEPENS DROPS DISCLOSE WITH DESTINO ON THE BASE OF THE RING STEPS ON THE FLOOR!!! MY GOD, THAT SICKENING THUD! Disclose is out as ColePens, KIRK, UnrealMachine and Scandale du Jour now stand tall in the middle of the ring.
ColePens now grabs a microphone. ColePens says he spoke to MCG over the weekend and MCG won't sanction a match between Cole and Disclose because he worries about how much hot water the HFWF will get in... so ColePens wants HFWF to not be responsible at all. ColePens says he wants sole responsibility for what he does to Disclose. ColePens says this has been going on for nearly 6 months and it's time for it to end... COLEPENS CHALLENGES DISCLOSE TO AN UNSANCTIONED MATCH AT PAYBACK! The fans pop as ColePens drops the mic and the PWC stand tall and continue posing.
INTERVIEW - @Emperoreddy is backstage with Cathy Kelley. She wants to know how his first few weeks in the HFWF have been and how he's working away for respect. Emperoreddy says he's had a handful of matches now and he thinks he's starting to get the respect of his peers and the audience. He says people thought he was a joke with a catchy theme song only, he said the critics thought he can't wrestle, but he proved that when he put on a great performance in the ring with Kimi last week, and beat someone with such technical prowess. Emp says he's here to stay, earn respect, work hard... and ultimately become champion. Suddenly,
@Falco Lombardi walks into the picture! He mock applauds Emperoreddy. He looks him up and down and says he's not impressed. Falco Lombardi says for weeks he's heard the hype of Emperoreddy and all the things he can do and all the things he will do. Falco says people won't shut up about Emperoreddy and he hasn't done a thing worth a damn in the HFWF. Falco wants to know when people are going to talk about him. Falco says he took the HFWF champion to his absolute limit last week and Fro escaped him, but yet, people are still talking about Emperoreddy? Falco Lombardi gets in Emperoreddy's face and says he doesn't see what the hype is all about.
FALCO SLAPS EMPEROREDDY ACROSS THE FACE! The fans boo as Falco leaves and Emp looks on.
PROMO: @Phobia Catalyst is shown in a dark area of the arena, but this time he has no face paint on. He looks normal. Phobia Catalyst says maybe he was wrong. Maybe he went about this wrong the entire time and what he did to
@OmniSens was wrong. Phobia says he wanted to inflict the most amount of pain imaginable on OmniSens. But now he realizes what he did was wrong... it's not that he has to inflict the most amount of pain on OmniSens... no... Phobia has to completely eliminate OmniSens from the HFWF for good. Phobia smirks and says it all makes sense now. He turns his back to the camera to close the segment.
MATCH 3 -- CorTil (@Cor & @Chytil) vs. FTR (Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder)
- This time, Cor takes charge and he's starting the match. Lockup and a technical showcase between Cor and Dash Wilder to start and Cor gets the better of it, as he grounds Dash with a back-to-belly take down and slaps Dash in the head. Dash gets frustrated and charges, but Cor side steps. Cor hits repeated clotheslines in the corner to Dash. Irish whip into the opposite corner and Cor hits a running dropkick in the corner. Cor attempts a suplex but Dash counters. He pushes Cor into the corner, charges, but eats a boot to the face. Dash charges again and he eats another boot. Cor springboards off the middle rope and attempts a sunset flip into the pin, but Dash kicks out at two. Dash pops up and he eats an atomic drop from Cor and a punch, knocking Dash down. Cor attempts a quick Codebreaker, but Dash pushes Cor off and he tags in Scott Dawson!
Dawson now legal. He enters the ring and runs at Cor, but Cor dodges. Cor lifts Dawson for a back suplex, but Dawson flips through. Dawson runs Cor into the ropes and rolls him up with a handful of tights, but Cor reverse into a rollup of his own but gets a two count! Both men are up and Dawson runs into a big boot from Cor.
COR LIFTS DAWSON UP FOR A BACK SUPLEX, BOUNCES HIM OFF THE TOP ROPE AND DROPS HIM WITH A REBOUND BACK SUPLEX! Cover gets a two count again!
- Cor wrenches the arm of Dawson, and Chytil wants a tag now. The fans boo as Cor hesitates, but
Cor tags in Chytil! Chytil up top and he hits an axehandle to the wrenched arm of Dawson. Chytil off the ropes hits a front dropkick to Dawson, which sends Dawson through the ropes and to the floor.
CHYTIL FOR A BASEBALL SLIDE, BUT DAWSON LIFTS UP THE RING SKIRT! CHYTIL IS TRAPPED, AND DASH WILDER RUNS ALONG THE APRON AND DROPS HIS BOOT INTO THE BACK OF THE HEAD OF CHYTIL! Dawson rolls Chytil back in and goes for the cover, but Chytil kicks out at two. Dawson wrenches the arm of Chytil and now he tags in Dash Wilder.
Dash Wilder now legal. Scott Dawson lifts Chytil up for a back suplex and Dash Wilder joins and they drop Chytil with a double team back suplex into a neckbreaker. Cover gets a two count. Dash Wilder works over Chytil, cutting off half the ring. Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson make quick tags and repeatedly stomp away at Chytil in the corner. Dash Wilder, back legal, drops Chytil with a hard back suplex. He follows up with a fist drop but gets a two count.
- Dash pulls Chytil up and taunts Cor, asking if he's going to get a tag. Dash pulls Chytil away from Cor and goes for a back suplex, but
CHYTIL COUNTERS. HE LANDS ON HIS FEET AND CHYTIL HITS A SPINNING FOREARM SMASH TO DASH WILDER! Chytil has an opening, Cor wants a tag! Chytil approaches Cor, but
Chytil stops! Chytil gives Cor a thumbs up and says he's got this. In the background,
Dash Wilder tags in Scott Dawson. CHYTIL TURNS... AND HE RUNS INTO A SHATTER MACHINE FROM FTR!!! SCOTT DAWSON FOR THE COVER, DASH CUTS OFF COR... AND IT'S GOOD FOR THE WIN! FTR DEFEATS CORTIL!
RESULT: FTR def. CorTil @ 6:00.
Post-match: FTR exits the ring and pose and celebrate together. We see highlights of the match and the finish, with Chytil once again not tagging in his partner and costing them the match. Back live, Cor is scolding Chytil, asking him what the hell is going on in his head. Cor is yelling at Chytil, saying he's nothing without him and that he made Chytil. Cor wants to know what Chytil is thinking and why he keeps doing this week after week. Suddenly,
CHYTIL SLAPS COR ACROSS THE FACE! Cor is stunned.
CHYTIL PUSHES COR DOWN TO THE MAT AND CHYTIL LEAVES! The fans boo as Chytil walks up the ramp and Cor is left in the ring, watching him leave, flabbergasted.
BACKSTAGE: Fro is in the trainer's room being tended to. The trainer is really advising Fro to take it easy, but Fro says no, and that his open challenge is continuing because he's a fighting champion and that's what he does. He's the gold standard in the HFWF and he's said it time and time again. Suddenly,
OmniSens walks in. OmniSens says he got word from MCG that next week, he's dealing with that looney toon insane asylum homebody,
Phobia Catalyst next week in one-on-one competition, but Omni tells Fro in two weeks, he'll gladly take that championship from Fro and then he's going to walk into Payback as HFWF champion, and walk out as a double champion. OmniSens wishes Fro good luck in his open challenge next week and hopes he wins. Fro stands up, gets in Omni's face, and tells him Omni doesn't need to worry about a thing -- he'll see him in two weeks. Omni smirks and walks off.
MATCH 4 -- @Dr Pepper & ??? vs. @GKJ & @SnS
-- Dr Pepper is standing in the ring alone, standing across from GKJ & SnS. As the bell is about to ring to make it a handicap match,
@jbell886 MUSIC HITS! THE FANS POP BIG! DR PEPPER IS WIDE EYED, LIKE HE DIDN'T EVEN EXPECT IT. Jbell makes his way out and he's standing beside Dr Pepper.
-- Dr Pepper and SnS start and Dr Pepper immediately takes the action to SnS. He backs him into the corner with hard strikes, and hits him with uppercuts and forearm smashes. SnS throws Pepper into the corner and hits him with hard rights. Irish whip into the opposite corner and Dr Pepper bounces out and takes SnS down with a clothesline! Irish whip off the ropes and Dr Pepper with a back body drop! SnS pops up and he tags in GKJ!
GKJ is legal. GKJ climbs up to the top rope and
HE TAKES DR PEPPER DOWN WITH A CROSSBODY, BUT DR PEPPER ROLLS THROUGH! Dr Pepper has GKJ across his chest, but GKJ climbs down. GKJ pushes Dr Pepper into the corner and GKJ hits a running European uppercut to Dr Pepper. Irish whip into the opposite corner and he hits another running European uppercut into the corner.
GUTWRENCH SUPLEX FROM GKJ, BUT IT ONLY GETS A TWO COUNT!
- GKJ tags in SnS now and they both clobber away at Dr Pepper in the corner. Double Irish whip and they take Dr Pepper down with a double reverse elbow. SnS with a fist drop and he gets a two count. SnS pulls Dr Pepper up and
SNS DROPS DR PEPPER WITH A BACK-TO-BELLY REVERSE PILEDRIVER! Cover gets a two count! SnS tags in GKJ again. SnS with a backbreaker to Dr Pepper, and GKJ jumps off the top and hits a double foot stomp into the chest of Dr Pepper! Another cover gets a two count. GKJ pulls Dr Pepper up and hits a European uppercut, but suddenly, Dr Pepper slaps his head and tells GKJ to hit him again. Another European uppercut and Dr Pepper wants more. He hits two more before Dr Pepper explodes.
DR PEPPER UNLEASHES WITH EUROPEAN UPPERCUTS AND FOREARMS TO THE JAW OF GKJ! Irish whip into the corner and
DR PEPPER HITS A RUNNING BIG BOOT TO GKJ IN THE CORNER! Dr Pepper lifts GKJ up and drops him with a
Swinging Side Slam! Dr Pepper for the cover, but SnS breaks it up! Dr Pepper stalks SnS, it buys GKJ enough time to clobber Dr Pepper from behind. GKJ Irish whips Dr Pepper and attempts a big boot, but Dr Pepper dodges, and he turns and
DR PEPPER TAKES GKJ DOWN WITH A DISCUS CLOTHESLINE! The fans pop big as Dr Pepper now eyes Jbell in the corner.
- After a little stare down and hesitance...
DR PEPPER SLAPS JBELL ON THE CHEST TO TAG HIM IN! The fans pop big.
JBELL HITS REPEATED RUNNING HIP ATTACKS TO GKJ IN THE CORNER! Jbell with a scoop slam and a running leg drop to GKJ! Jbell is fired up. Atomic drop to GKJ.
SnS runs into the ring and JBELL HITS HIM WITH A BACK BODY DROP OVER THE TOP AND TO THE FLOOR BELOW! DR PEPPER FOLLOWS UP AND HE TAKES SNS DOWN WITH A DISCUS CLOTHESLINE ON THE FLOOR TO A POP! GKJ takes advantage in the ring of the distraction and
GKJ GOES FOR THE POPUP EUROPEAN UPPERCUT TO JBELL, BUT JBELL BLOCKS! BIG BOOT FROM JBELL, HARD SLAP TO THE CHEST HEARD THROUGHOUT THE ARENA... AND JBELL SCOOPS GKJ UP AND DROPS HIM WITH A RUNNING POWERSLAM! Jbell tags in Dr Pepper with a slap to the chest.
Dr Pepper climbs up to the top... AND DR PEPPER HITS A DIVING LEG DROP OFF THE TOP ROPE TO GKJ!!! COVER... AND DR PEPPER AND JBELL PICK UP THE WIN!
RESULT: Jbell & Dr Pepper def. GKJ & SnS @ 8:00.
Post-match: Dr Pepper and Jbell stand side-by-side, hesitantly. Jbell stares down Dr Pepper, slowly nodding at each other.
