Don't think McG stands to gain as much in the AHL as he does playing top-9 minutes with guys like Sid to ping questions off of and learn from in practice. I don't expect him to light it up but something probably more along the lines of what Knies did for Toronto in his first season of NHL hockey. Especially if he gets spot time alongside Sid or Geno.

You don't think he'd gain anything from spending time in the AHL with a coach that has a good track record with development that will play him in top line minutes as well as the powerplay and help him fix issues in his game?

Interesting. I'd prefer he started in WBS so he gets that with MacDonald.

I begrudgingly voted Beau. If McG aint top 6, I dont want him playing the right way 9 minutes a night with Eller or Hayes getting tons of Dzone starts. 1st line and top PP in WBS.

Yeah, after watching the game after the fact, I changed my vote from McG to Beau…he’s better right now…McG needs to start in the A

I think McG should play over Acciari though. Dude's useless.

It's funny to see Beau have a good game, doing a lot of great things, only to be demoted in camp in the line-up, lol.

I think there's a legit chance to flip Beau at the deadline if he does well this season. I know we cope with that logic all the time but he's got a track record of doing well in the playoffs, he's cheap, he's on an expiring contract, and if he does well this team could definitely get something for him imo. Not much, but something, and I am a firm believer in the "spray and pray" strategy for rounds like 2-5, so the more picks the merrier.
