OT: HFPens Community Lounge: Everyone was forced outside to touch real grass during the HF crash of 2025 edition

Jason Statham has been playing the same f***ing role for what, 20yrs now? That bloke either needs to figure out some franchise so he can keep doing the same shit and actually build an arc or just f*** off already.

Switch 2 announced for June release. I probably shouldn't have just purchased a switch OLED but oh well

I'm going to keep my switch OLED and wait for a switch 2 OLED, but the switch 2 is actually looking pretty nice. 1080p LCD screen that supports 120 FPS and HDR, if that was an OLED screen I'd buy it instantly.

I'll be buying a Switch 2, just don't know when.

Yeah I'll admit the combination of:

1. Kirby Air Ride 2
2. Gamecube games on nintendo switch online for the Switch 2
3. New Zelda Warriors game
4. Silksong

Makes me super tempted to get it ASAP, but I also just upgraded to the switch OLED so I want to wait a bit. Definitely not at least until the end of this year at minimum.

Where do you buy those at? Been doing some research....

Mycolean ... @Buddy Bizarre use "FORYOU30" for 30% off.

Unrelated: has anyone flown to London from Pittsburgh via British Airways? I'm trying to determine how early we can drop off our luggage but my internet searches aren't coming up with anything definitive. Edit: their chat says the check-in counter is open at least 3 to 4 hours before the flight.

4 hours is pushing it. When we fly internationally, they usually don't open the counter until about 3-2.5 hours before the flight. Besides, PGH is so small it really doesn't take long to go through security even at peak times.

Thanks. Wasn't really concerned with the security. More about dinner timing.

In that case, I'd say if you want to get through early to eat somewhere on the concourse, try to arrive around 3 hours before your flight.

I hate waiting around the concourse so I usually aim for us getting there 2 hours before the flight and then I go to Primanti's.

I'd say 3 hrs is the typical go/no go for checking luggage.

As for security at PIT, the lines have been all over the place in terms of length/wait times. I've seen them go the whole length of the walkway out into the parking area @5am. But it's been about a month since I went through.

And even if you have clear/pre-check/preferred status, I wouldn't count on it saving you that wait because the TSA nincompoops either don't care or don't know how to correctly put people in the right line. I had one in december that could not understand that I had both 1st class/preferred and precheck and he insisted in putting me in the cattle line. Had to get supervisor to instruct him that those don't cancel each other out and I waltzed through preferred as I should have.
