I can make my pick if we want, then Paul can pick when he has time?

Soli is God here. It's his draft. But I unfortunately think that rules are rules and Paul Bissonette gets his 8 hours, despite the fact he is our weak link, this draft is moving along quite well, and whatever will we do when it's done and the draft is still over a month away....

Post mock-draft analysis of course.

Where's this Dallas guy?

Does he think like he has a life or something?

Priorities.

 it's the brutal that we have to wait 6-9 hours for every one of his picks. Thank god Dallas doesn't have many picks and that he wasted his first on Stanley.

And with respect to being dubbed the "weak link" of the draft, I'd just like to say that I wouldn't have joined this draft if the drafting window was much less than 8 hours. I work outdoors, and don't spend all of my free time on a computer. I do check hfboards at least once a day, and unfortunately for those of you who don't like waiting for me to pick, that is likely not going to be immediately after my drafting window opens. Sorry not sorry.

You shouldn't apologize. You're entitled to your clock.

Let's stick to good natured ribbing. Mob harassment isn't a good look for some of you.

Hey, Dallas picked and it's been 45 minutes. NOW who is sleeping?!?! Ha!

It's going insanely fast even with the odd time a longer time is taken for a pick. We're almost caught up to Montreal's mock. :)

Washington selects winger Nicholas Caamano of the Flint Firebirds.

Put up some pretty solid numbers on one hell of a miserable and dysfunctional team. I like his potential.

:caps

30: C/W Alex DeBrincat
120: D Stepan Falkovsky
145: D Voytech Budik
150: W Nicholas Caamano

With the 152nd pick the Edmonton Oilers are proud to select, from the Spokane Chiefs of the WHL, Hudson Elynuik!

To be honest I was a little surprised he was still on the board (unless I missed someone taking him). He's 6'5" 205 lbs and ranked 68th on Central Scouting's list. He had 44 points in 56 games this season in the WHL. He needs to work on his agility and if he can become stronger on his skates then his balance would greatly improve but neither of these things come as a big surprise considering his size. Overall though he is a big player that is strong on the puck and has soft hands. He was highly regarded a couple years ago but he struggled to show off his potential due to injury (until this season).

1(4). Pierre Luc Dubois (LW/C)
2(32). Kale Clague (D)
3(62). Adam Fox (D)
3(84). Mikhail Berdin (G)
3(87). Wade Allison (RW)
5(122). Ty Ronning (RW)
5(148). Brinson Pasichnuk (D)
6(152). Hudson Elynuik (LW/C)

Vancouver has been notified that they are on the clock :)

Nice pick, really thought about taking him at the end of the 5th with Washington's pick. Went with Caamano because I think he's got a lot of untapped potential and maybe the Firebirds won't be such a **** show next season with Rolf Nielsen finally out of the picture, and Elyniuk's injury history was definitely a contributing factor.

Ironically Caamano and Elyniuk were ranked back to back by Central (69 and 68 respectively) and end up going back to back in our draft.

:cbj The Columbus Blue Jackets select from St. Petersburg of the MHL, C - Vasili Glotov.

The 5'11, 160lb pivot finished second in scoring in the MHL behind teammate Andrei Feklistov. He was certainly aided in his point totals by his teammate, but they fed off of each other. Glotov is extremely skinny, and will need to add strength to his frame to have a legitimate shot at an NHL career. However, with his skating ability and hard working nature, the long-term potential for this centerman is extremely high if he checks in at 5'11, 190.

I was hesitant to draft a Russian for the Jackets because they have been burned in the past, but last year they drafted Gavrikov late marking the first Russian they have drafted since 2008 when Filatov was selected with their top pick.
