So not sure if this is for everyone but looks like at the bottom of the page there now is a paint brush with HFB2025-light. If i click it and select HFB-proxy it's a dark theme

Yeah it's the previous style before the current "blazing center of a quasar" one.

This worked for me. Hopefully my eyes can recover their health.

You're like 3 clicks away from Dark Reader solving this problem, at least in the interim. I'm using it on Firefox at the moment and will probably just stick with it. Whatever voodoo science they use to automatically make sites dark worked really well with this one.
