The one saving grace is that so far there’s not a consistent bombardment of ads that heats my phone to 500 degrees and cover half the page though I’m sure that’s coming

I see they still won’t let me in unless I turn off my adblocker too

Why's that? The text mostly just looks more bubbly to me. Maybe I'll notice some issues the more I mess around with it but nothing substantial yet.

Is it just me, or is it exclusively dark mode now? I can't change it in preferences.

I get that themes and styles were lost in the transition, but it seems odd that this would be the Xenforo default theme and font and stuff. Also strange that the default wouldn't have more than one option we could change as of right now.

Why's that? The text mostly just looks more bubbly to me. Maybe I'll notice some issues the more I mess around with it but nothing substantial yet.

Obviously the bugs and look is being ironed out, but this default does indeed feel a little visually unfriendly. Almost like sending a friendly clown to a kids party and seeing everyone scream and run around.

I've noticed if I flick hard to scroll to the bottom or top of a page in HF or try to flick again while the first flick scroll hasn't completed, I can't do it on this website. Flick scroll works as normal on other websites. I can flick to scroll, but very lightly and not while it's still moving (stops it).

But not all negatives, a bunch of the animations and repositioning when the site finishes loading is a lot nicer now. The adblocker reminder also seems more responsive and doesn't reposition as much.

It might be based on your OS settings.

It looks like it’s already been ironed out but a bit but there doesn’t feel like there’s any separation to me right now. Like all the threads and then the messages in each thread kind of feel bricked together, more so than before at least

Who am I kidding I wouldn’t actually leave. All my warnings are expired and there’s still Leafs fans to troll

This happens every time there's an upgrade, it'll be fixed eventually.

My OS system mode was on light.

I just realized my browser is on dark mode and I can swap between dark and light mode using browser settings.

EDIT: It seems I can light/dark mode for appearance settings through browser but not font. Oh well.

I’m also locked into dark mode, which is usually my preference, but the contrasts they chose for this version of it are a bit wonky imo. Probably just more of an adjustment thing though
