This will be good to look back on. Not for the "i told you so" appeal but as a reminder of how difficult post draft development is to predict. I hope we do this again in the future but either way, thanks for committing your time and energy amnesiac. :thumbu:

Yeah there is not 11 defenceman prospect better then Romanov right now, that's funny!!!!

He's top3.

1-Seider
2-Byram
3-Romanov

Lol ya that was one I didnt notice at first glance. seems like a glaring issue with the list to me as well. I would have the same top 3 as you

this was done between Oct and Jan, obviously many players would have changed spots after the WJC and in ROmanov's case, his first NHL game.

Pretty much every prospect of a Canadian team is overrated.
As a Habs fan I agree, Canadian/popular team bias here except for probably Romanov, who seems pretty low IMO. Liljegren, Robertson, Pinto seem high to me.

Underrated prospects, I think: John Leonard and Scott Perunovich. I'd have them on this list over many guys.

I wouldve had that same top 3 before that as well though so I dont see your point. Byram and Seider wouldve been splitting hairs but Romanov should be right there still.

Too high: Cole Caufield, Marco Rossi, Timothy Liljegren, Shane Pinto, Connor Zary

Too low: Liam Foudy, Jakob Pelletier, Matthew Boldy, Adam Beckman,

Otherwise a fantastic list. Thank you @amnesiac

I would take Seider, Byram, Drysdale over him.

Then put him in a similar grouping with Sandin, Smith, Dobson, Sanderson and Bouchard.

He's 4-8 imo.

That was a lot of effort to do and organize that vote.

The voting began in October as you noted and a lot changes with prospects at this age. Majority of it done pre-WJC.

Looking forward to next offseasons version of this, it was a fun way to pass the time while there was no hockey.
