What's that? Is that Seamus Casey music?!

Why are tiny offensive defencemen even allowed in this?

He's like 20/80 or maybe 30/70 to even be a full time, quality NHLer. He's got skillz, but so did a whole heap of busted guys of a similar vein who also had a ton of skill.

Marco Kasper should be a safe, hard working 3rd liner in the NHL for years, I think he has the safest floor of all remaining options, but others have higher ceilings.

If Hab's fans didn't split their vote between Mailloux and Roy the one of them they would be tied for the lead.

We don't vote because of bias, we vote with a clear conscience

But still Joshua Roy will end up a better player than half the players already voted in

and yet you voted Casey.... I mean cmon, man. Pot meet kettle.

You know damn well if, say, Mailloux were a Devil you wouldve voted for him too.

Wasn't my point at all and I don't understand how you got there.

simply saying that since there are two Habs prospects on the list the Hab's fans are going to split their vote in-between them which makes the odds of either of them winning the poll that much harder.

Worked so hard to get lane hutson in at 14 but can't come together to make a decision and let Mailloux and Roy flounder smh.

If they'd just worked together they'd have both gone top 25

As someone who watches a ton of London Knights games Mailloux has 0 business going ahead of Bonk.
I have no problem with that opinion.... On the other hand, Mailloux did prove to be a very high scoring Dman (3rd) in the AHL, in his rookie season no less. I think that proves a whole hell of a lot.

Kid is also 6'3 220 lbs..... Defensive woes can be improved. I mean, whats not to like here?

A much smaller Zellweger went 25th in this ranking as a purely offensive Dman who proved himself in the AHL too.

I will never pretend to be an expert on guys like Zellwegger

I do not get a chance to watch vast amounts of film on a lot of guys, and a lot of very helpful statistical info is not there for a lot of lower levels (or is paywall blocked).

I have watched a lot of the guys the devils draft for obvious reasons, as well as a lot of knights hockey.

And my conclusion, with however much bias is in there for an NJD prospect, is that Casey and Bonk over Mailloux, with Sam Dickinson levels ahead of all 3.
