I dunno, these guys were ranked around 20th in a weak draft. Dont think theyll make the top 50 at all.
Oh well that makes sense. I'll save you some trouble and list some other guys taken after Ostlund in a weak draft so you can delete them off the board
Kemell
Ohgren
Miro
Literally every pick before Ostlund is on the board.

What a weird response. Are you not paying attention to the board?

I went with Brink cause I considered him pretty much NHL-ready outside of his injury. I do concede players below him will probably surpass him but for now he is my selection.

Paying attention to the board? youre the first to mention these guys..... Clearly just another Sabres homer.

Kemell was ranked top 10
Ohgren 17th
Ostlund 24th

according to an average of 15 combined lists, We looked at 15 sources to come up with EOTP’s Consensus NHL Draft Rankings

Just because Buffalo took a chance and drafted Ostlund 16th doesnt make him better than those taken soon after. Get over yourself.

Well maybe if you just said nobody brought him up. I was just being consistent with your answer which made no sense.

My answer was that Im listing guys who were PRE RANKED the highest, more or less in order. Not where they were actually drafted.
I hope you didn't punch your keyboard. I mean that's why I asked dude. How would I know which gratuitous ranking you were pulling players from. Geez man it's Saturday in the summer. No need to get all worked up.

when if you respond sarcastically, and end with "What a weird response. Are you not paying attention to the board?", Ill answer in the same manner.

Bourgault proved when Mav got injured he’s a play driver himself. Next Pastrnak. Okay with Zellweger before him but he should be close.

If Mateychuk hadn't been cycled out I'd be saying add Ostlund as well. I think he's a better prospect that Lekkerimaki and Kemell. Not a Sabres fan. There's a big contingent of folks that are very high on Ostlund.

Also these merged lists you are using have some pretty weak sources mixed in them. Will Scouch has a horrible track record. I don't know if I should care what Smaht scouting and Dobber think either.

well ironically Smaht had Ostlund 10th and Scouch had him 20th... so if you took those out he'd be even lower.

Whatever the case, I can add him, but I guarantee he wont get voted in soon.

With the Pelletier campaign now successful it's time to get the Coronato hype train warmed up and ready to leave the station.

jking
voted Yurov. Mintyukov, Knies, Raty are other guys I like at this spot. Holloway & Zellweger up soon too.
Lysell should really be a voting option in the next one.

Korchinski and Mateychuk are In the exact same boat as Mintyukov - I’d argue both are better.

I have Mateychuk close behind Mintyukov, Mintyukov's tools are a lot better. Similar results and playstyle though. Korchinski is much more of a project, he still has to learn how to play defense.
