You want to know how good he is? He has now turned two career 40-50 point players into point per game wingers (Hudler and Lindholm).
I contend that's close to where Monahan would be without Gaudreau.
People think of him as the playmaker and Monahan as the goal scorer, but forget that Gaudreau had 36 goals last year to Monahan's 34. And he did it without the benefit of receiving his own passes.
