Seems like the gameplan against the Caps is to do your best to jump out to a big lead early and hold on, because beating them late in games is rough.

Everytime Hutson and Struble were out there we just couldn't get any real possession of the puck, felt a lot like when we have Quinn Hughes out there.

Put a fork on this Vancouver team, that’s what happens when 40 year old Cory freaking Perry has more goals than number one centre Pettersson. If was not for Lankinen and Demko this team finishes, bottom five.

While obviously there is a lot of other young talent on the Habs emerging, I've walked away just so impressed by Hutson, everytime I watch the Habs I see him make things happen and even tonight, just the way the Habs possessed the puck with Hutson out there - there is a very legitimate chance that there is a top-5 defenseman in the NHL somewhere in him, it's a matter of achieving that potential.

Indeed. Very special player. Few rookie d-men are able to make the players around them better to the extent Hutson does. Yeah, he's putting up the stats, but a person really needs to watch him to fully appreciate his impact on a game.
