Domi did get a match penalty. Automatic suspension at that time of the game. Still don't understand how Garbutt got 5 for fighting as he got jumped from behind.

No match but Garbutt shouldn't have got anything. Never seen a guy get a fighting major without even taking off his gloves and not throwing a punch.

More thàn likely it was to get him off the ice before someone else went after him. Not the first time a player got put into "protective custody" by the officials.

BTW... It was a clean hit. Just wasn't necessary given that point in the game.
