We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.
What This Means for You:
- If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
- If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
- Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. Just brought up the Gamecenter for the Canucks-Devils game to see how things were going. Since the shootout wasn't over yet when I pulled it up (but may be by the time I finish typing this post), it claimed that the game state was a "1 on 0" situation. Which I guess is accurate, but not something I've ever seen before. Not that I generally have a habit of looking at the Gamecenter on the NHL's website in the middle of an ongoing shootout, however.
Is there a team you would rather face in the playoffs right now than the Devils? Imploding!

Islanders got burned. That was a blown call by the ref. Winning goal was scored by Islanders in regulation. Never shoukd have gone to the goofy shoot out.

I can understand the NHL not wanting the Islanders in the playoffs, nobody enjoys watching that. However; that was one of the most ref decided games in recent memory and just makes me mad, just a completely fabricated win for Columbus that they didn't earn.
