...I threw my stick "towards" a ref once, when I was like 12 (wooden goalie stick); didn't come close to hitting him, but it was enough for a 3 game suspension......not my proudest moment...

At 6'7 you should of kept playnig in net.......You had the physical advantages for it....

...not that my rant has anything to do with BOTH my grandkids playing goal now and me promising to pay for it...

Loved the old school wooden sticks koho, titan , cooper).........Felt like i couldn't get any power on my shot with those overrated easton sticks........

My skates are older…omg

My first pair of skates only lasted 10 years. Boot was still fine but I got a crack in one of the blade holders around the depression for the bolt head that held the blade in place. I suppose I could have had the blade holder replaced, but I bought a new pair of skates instead.

I’m not mad… just annoyed at this game. I would say you don’t want to see me when I’m mad, but I don’t remember what that’s like since I don’t remember the last time I was actually angry.

However, considering how unreliable my memory is, there’s a non-zero chance that I was mad about something yesterday and just forgot.

Remember all that stuff well...........Right here in Capreol we had an amazing sports store for equiptment and NHL apparel.......Got the orange NHL All Star jersey for Christmas one year....Amazing feeling when i opened that..........Was too nice to use at practice...........
