They shouldn't allow the reset and it would be fine IMO. Not perfect by any means but at least entertaining. Shootout is the worst though.

In terms of how to settle a game that’s tied after regulation, I’d disagree.

Whaddya think about going to 8 OT minutes like suggest at the GM meetings last week?

Stats suggest it would complete 90% in a “game” setting in that timeframe. I’m for it.

Not a fan of shoot outs other than exciting but not to finish games where play off positions are dependent on.

Wouldn’t mind it. Would prefer 10 just for a nice even number (not necessarily because I believe 10 minutes instead of 8 would lead to even fewer shootouts).
