Armia waves at the bench for a line change and starts the straight line path to the bench.

As Slafkovsky jumps on, Armia sees the puck about to leave the offensive zone along the boards and keeps it in with his skate.

Too many men on the ice penalty.

That isn’t Slafkovsky’s fault. Once you commit to leaving the ice, you do not deviate no matter what happens.

She thinks it’s always the guy’s responsibility jumping on. But once you commit to leaving, that’s it.

Otherwise, the guy would have to wait until you’re on the bench to jump on, and that’s wasting vital seconds.
