The 3rd period was a pretty lopsided period, however you can park the bus when you have Adin Hill in there instead of Samsonov who has a career .GAA nearing 5 against the Oilers.

Would like to put Samsonov on a bus to anywhere outside of Nevada, but Vegas in the 3rd was vintage Cassidy in simply playing lockdown defense and not seriously trying to score. Chip-and-change, chip-and-change. The Oilers played along by staying along the perimeter and largely keeping out of the middle until they had the extra man on the EN. Hill made some big stops, but mostly he faced perimeter muffins which inflated his stats.
