Think Macklin was one of the most out of the box 200ft 1C prospects drafted in the last 20 years. Probably has a lot to do with his dad and uncle being so involved in sports science. Very hard to be prepared for the physical toil the NHL season can put on you at that age but wouldn't doubt he was as ready as possible for it.

One gets the feeling that Celebrini also has those instincts that just can't be taught.
