Yeah, Samsonov got lucky he got to win a game against the choker Ullmark. He was swept clean by Swayman.

I thought both goals in Game 7 were on Samsonov. The first goal was a complete muffin that an ECHL goalie should stop. The OT winner, he forgets he has a stick in his hand and lets Pastrnak just deke him while he makes a snow angel. He had the option to beat Pastrnak to the puck OR poke check the puck away, he choose to do a snow angel instead. Rielly was even yelling at Samsonov to play the puck but he was too scared and decided to make a snow angel.

I'm pretty confident Woll shuts out Boston in Game 7. I didn't think Boston had 1 good chance in regulation all game.

That's a bit of what I was saying. When your 5'9" 170ish or whatever he is, it's difficult to win draws, as you're not hard to tie up and what-not. It also doesn't help defensively, where reach is an asset. Surprised Timmy is right there with him.

It would make sense if it was a “whistle should have been blown” call. i.e the puck was frozen. But if it’s loose the whole time why would you then say “we didn’t make the wrong call fast enough”?
