You're right. Swayman made out like a bandit on that deal.

I for one am happy that the Bruins got to play the Leafs missing their 2 top scorers in the first round for multiple games so Swayman can fleece the Bruins. They weren't beating Florida with an injured Matthews and Samsonov in net anyway.

It might have worked out best for the Leafs if Swayman never becomes what he looked like in that series.

Leafs make the playoffs though.

1 team wins the Cup, 16 make the playoffs. Lose the strawman. The Senators have never won a Cup either so don't even know why that's the strawman you wanted to go with anyway.
Bro, your team makes playoffs but win less series then the senators, who don't make playoffs.

In your attempt to throw shade on me for no reason, you've just played Russian roulette with yourself.

You literally just said one team makes playoffs insinuating sens don't, yet in Matthews career the sens have more playoff series wins.

Your original comment was making fun of me being premature. Meanwhile your entire teams fanbase are premature ejaculators.

I take exception to that. My Sabres are at the bottom of the conference.
Not after tonight!

It's quite a strange strawman. Yes, the Senators old core had more success in their history than the Leafs current core who is much younger than that core was.

Your old core had more success than the Leafs current core, but your current core sucks. That's the strawman you keep creating to deflect from the current core. Talk about your current team, not the old retired team that you loved while Brady/Stutzle were in junior.

This is like saying my dad was stronger than you when he was a kid. Not a single Senator player from that team is on the roster, most of them are retired now. The Senators current captain was in junior when that core was playing.

Exactly. So this finishes where it started. You trying to clown me, but you're the clown. Who failed to realize the dig. But keep on keeping on. It's what you do on these boards

I think you fail to realize the dig.

I said the Senators struggle to make the playoffs. Your dig is oh well our old team used to make the playoffs.

Okay...? What's that got to do with anything. Not a single player on the current Sens team has played 83 games with the Senators in a season. Creating a strawman doesn't make your argument stronger. You just changed the narrative to something that isn't even relevant.

The ghosts of your team were good, sure. The current team collapses at the thought of being the top 50% of the league. Make the playoffs before you start talking about Cups or winning rounds.

Samsinov stinks for sure. But we all knew that from his days in Washington. It was the fact Marner stunk the entire series and was ass in game 7 that allowed the Bs to take them out again.

I mean Samsonov went 0 for 4 against Swayman. Woll went 2-0 against him. That was the series.
