My opinion of Bouchard has never changed. In no universe is Bouchard a fundamentally good hockey player or has he ever been. He has some really good offensive skills and nothing else. Bad skating, lacks awareness of when he has time to make a play vs when urgency needed. Not physical or aggressive at all. He lacks lots of skills that make a good hockey player. Luckily for him he is really good at the few good skills he has.
Fundamentals. Clearly, you do not understand those.
If he wasn’t, we could plug any fundamentally bad defenceman in his spot and have the same success.
