He's been better after undergoing hip surgery in the offseason. Still don't really see him ever being a reliable #1 but he's been alright. 2.5 million worth of goaltending anyway.

Askarov looks good... I think he was asuch a smart pickup from Grier.. he'll arrive roughly the same time SJ becomes legit again. I'm liking SJ's future to be honest.

Grier got himself a potential 1C, 1D, and 1G all in one offseason. Tidy work for a GM in charge of a rebuild.

Which is how I think a rebuild should go.. get the hard pieces first and then fill it in with trades, UFA's and later picks. I like his pieces a lot.

Anaheim is the other rebuild I think will take off.

Sharks refuild looks pretty good. Habs are well on the way. Ducks young players for the most part do not look good. And they should. Could be the coach.
