The Preds season turning into a pancake was a surprise, but not a huge one as I figured they'd have a slow start to the season. League is to tight right now that if you put yourself behind the 8 ball it's tough to climb back.

But the Rangers crashing and burning I didn't see coming whatsoever. I mean, sure, some regression after winning the presidents trophy, but this level of suckage?

The Sabres pretty much forced Eichel out by refusing his preferred neck surgery. Plus, they didn’t have another elite centre.
Now they have three really good left side D, two who are elite. Trade one of those elite LSF to fill out depth. This is ugly what’s happening. Again.

And just let players have autonomy like that? That’s not winning teams do, not if you wanna win a cup.
