Good chance Willie gets fired after this road trip.

Which coaches are available? Any worthwhile?

I guess Gallant is available

I have always like Paul MacClean(sp?) Really like what he accomplished with a sub par Sens roster

Really think so? Might was well ride the tank to the end of the season.

Not saying I hope he does. I believe we should just ride it out the rest of the year. We're not making the playoffs. But I believe he could get fired after this road trip. This game in particular is an embarrassment.

If the refs called a penalty on every infraction against McDavid the Oilers would spend 1/3rd of the game on the PP.

Kings called for 1 penalty tonight. What a joke.

Carrier taken down with an empty net and they didn't call anything.

There was one PP in the entire game, and it wasn't for the Kings, so....:nopity:

No one was *****ing when Kopitar was literally tackled, but here we are.

Also a pattern every game I've watched McDavid play the officials are hyper sensitive to anything that looks like a penalty against McD.

The officials are constantly talking to the players. My guess is that they're warning the players of the obstruction, and after a couple of warnings they make a call. It's not always the most obvious call that gets made in the end, but the amount of holding that is done on Connor is pretty crazy. I don't think anyone in the NHL is as obstructed in the league as he is.

Was he "literally tackled" with an empty net and possession of the puck like Carrier was? Was he "literally tackled" like Foligno was in the neutral zone, when ROR had the puck 40 feet away? "Literally tackled" on every single wing every time they tried to get behind defensemen to get the puck?

Kings hockey is atrocious and games involving them are an abomination that the league should be ashamed of.

You win the award for complete hyperbole and overreaction of the night.

Congrats on your big win.

Edit: oh, I see 90% of your posts are complaining about reffing...never mind!

I can think of quite a few players, but this is subjective so there will never be a consensus. I will say this McDavid needs to be careful if he keeps up his incredulous act when he thinks there should be a call the refs tend to let even more go.

The refs in Edmonton are joke. I guess Wennberg and Karlsson would have go 5 minutes each if Klefbom fought Larsson.

Fun kids to watch in Buffalo that's for sure.

Kings aren't good enough to overcome league near-worst goaltending night after night...just have to continue to try to stay afloat for another month or so...

They really are. Obviously I think it should be 2-0, but overlooking that I have seen Pitlick throw a questionable hit from behind. (Almost off camera) Jack Johnson gets away with retaliating on a penalty that was called. With the ref standing there.
What the hell happens next?

It was a bad call, I think everyone can agree with that. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a make up call here shortly. Let's not go over board though.

I think the Canucks could have challenged for a playoff spot if they had a decent coach to start the year, a new coach now I don't think it will matter. But hey if they can find a guy that will be around for a few years then go for it. It can't get much worse.
