Is there a team in recent nhl history that drafted bottom 5 for consecutive years and ended up with two abysmal talents like Slafkovsky and Reinbacher?

The Canadiens are going the Oilers route. They'll need at least another 3 or 4 years of top 3 drafting to even have any franchise talent in their organization alongside Demidov if he works out.

This is the worst organization in the nhl by far. Kent Hughes is lucky he lucked upon drafting Demidov.

I wouldn't say that Slafs has been bad....he is showing he should be a good one....as for Reinbacher, you can't write a guy off who hasn't hardly yet played in the NHL....we shall see about him.....

Game start time was 3:00pm et, Puck drop was 4:16pm et.

I never want to hear another Bruins fan whine about the Habs 20 minute ceremonies ever again.

He has been bad. He’s got 2 goals in 21 games, he’s on pace for 8 goals this year on a garbage Habs team. Third season already, he’s woken up a bit lately but surely Habs fans expect more from a 1st overall pick.

Montreal have about 3 pieces right now, Slaf, Caufield and Hutson the rest is either trade bait or a dumpster fire.
