Refs want the Oilers to win so bad

Apparently Larson is allowed to play the puck with a broken stick if he realizes his mistake and drops it before 20 seconds

Don't let other fanbases hear you say that

The truth is the truth. Look at his numbers. Positive possession numbers against top competition with offense. Obviously the Selke isn't given after 22 games but he's been nothing short of amazing. You add the physical edge he has to his game and you have one of the most valuable players in the league who isn't a star.

Never said I disagreed with you

He really has been fantastic this year and he deserves the praise he's getting.

Man the Oilers need to get rid of their Powerplay coach. They would be better off if they had the option to decline powerplays. Leafs fans probably getting the illusion of the refs trying to give the game to the Oilers when in fact it has the opposite effect

If this game proves anything its that the Leafs in year 1B in their rebuild are better than Edmonton in year 11 of theirs

Don't lose hope Oiler fans, we have blown leads before. Just as big a test for the Leafs as it is for the Oilers.

I'm sure the refs will give the Oilers at least one more 5 on 3 to try and make this game competitive. Another phantom bench minor or two would be perfect.

I wouldn't call the officiating good tonight, but you're not going to get a bunch of calls when you have no offensive zone time like the Leafs tonight. They've pretty much scored on all of their opportunities, very good road game.
