Samsonov vs Swayman was a guaranteed loss no matter who was in the lineup.

Samsonov went 0-4 against Swayman. With or without Matthews. That was the series. He just needed to win 1 in 4 tries and couldn't.

Yeah, bad goaltending can sink any team.

Even Game 7 - the Leafs win that game if Samsonov doesn't allow an ECHL goal to take it to OT. I don't think the Bruins had a quality scoring chance in regulation the whole game.
