We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.
What This Means for You:
- If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
- If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
- Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
- Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress
Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. This is that rent free thing the kids talk about these days.
A slewfoot is basically always a match penalty. Intent to injure is pretty nebulous definitely but you kick a guys legs out on the ice you take a seat. I lost a nearly a year of hockey when I was teenager because a guy broke my ankle with a similar play.
Most times suspended anyway. He's got 8 which is one more than Pronger who had 7. Not sure who has the most games suspended, Torres had some long ones for sure.

I think the problem with Marchand is he would get suspended for the same things over & over but the repeat offender thing never seemed to apply & make them progressively longer to the level it should've, ala Torres.
I agree with the call on Hogs btw, we saw the same play lead to Podkolzin & Brannstrom getting stretchered off on consecutive days. Hate seeing that play, need to get it out of the game.

The matte black finish on the Canucks' helmets is NICE. They should move to these jerseys full-time.

He was a cheat code for Benning for a few years when he had Hughes surrounded by ECHL dmen while Hughes was making the D look somewhat close to NHL caliber lol

This is the PDO regression game, if the Canucks have any bit of puck luck, it would have been 6-1, 7-1
Have to say SJ played like an NHL team first 2 periods before turning into an ECHL team. Before they played like an ECHL team all 3 periods

I was thinking that as well. He seems to play better when he’s asked to do too much.
