I can’t imagine the rep he must have with the refs at this point since it’s happened a few times the past year-ish

You can tell when some players definitely have reputations.

Tkachuk gets the embellishments, Pettersson skates like bambi on ice and constantly plays on his ass so doesn’t usually get the calls, McDavid tries to over sell calls and the refs don’t fall for it.
