yea but sucks that covers more than half the NHL.
Ya gotta get selectively creative when trying to pick a " game of the night"

This season seems to have more than it's fare share of nights where there is no "game of night"

My early pick for finals is Stars vs Panthers.
Rangers are the Maple Leafs of the Metro.

By what criteria? By the criteria of not making the Final? Because sure, but they've been further than the Maple Leafs have been in at least 20 years twice in the last three seasons. Not sure why the Rangers are constantly grouped with the Maple Leafs because they lose in the ECF but Carolina that has had as much if not less success than the Rangers are not. Either way, this version of the Rangers will only make the playoffs on the back of goaltending and will likely be out in the first round. This year's Rangers are as bad as I remember them on defense. But over the last few years? Not sure how they're the Maple Leafs other than being one of 27 teams not to make the Final. I know they were the Presidents' Tropht winners but famously Presidents' Trophy winners haven't made it out of the second round in years and the Rangers made it further.

Good points. My bad. Leafs are in a class by them selves when it comes to play off flops.
Rangers get by first and second rounds on a regular basis and to the finals not too long ago.
