The Avs right now are the actual literal experiment of “hey, what would our rec league team be like if we just added MacKinnon and Makar?”

I know some of the walking dead will be back sooner or later…but it’s comical at this point. The Avs are literally bleeding losses at this point. They don’t even need Landeskog, Nichushkin, Lehkonen, Drouin, Colton and Wood all back. They just need baseline NHL filler material to turn some of the losses into points. I don’t want to hear about Makar’s +/-…when you are icing like 4 legit non-rookie NHL forwards, you’ve got to change the game plan.

And they don’t have it because they are so shit at drafting and even worse at developing players in the AHL.

Sadly I’d say he’s been very consistent

I think if Pettersson was traded to Canes for Necas and Canucks retaining Lindholm would have been better. Pettersson doesnt even shoot anymore, just passes to others even if they are covered. 11.5 mil for his trash play.
