The Hawks may have a lot of new players, but I don't like the makeup of this roster. Too many offensive guys with defensive flaws/lack of grit and really old guys.

They probably can - they play out in West Valley City. I assume at some point they'll be the NHL Utah ECHL affiliate, although I think as of right now they're still affiliated with the Avs.

They're all supporting players though. Nobody else on the team can drive a line. Taylor Hall used to be able to (at times, never consistently).

Davidson needs to get Bedard a star winger to play with, not just for production but as a mentor. Been saying for a long time now, Mitch Marner would be deadly with Bedard.

The Griz have been there a while, first as an IHL/AHL team so they probably have a solid fan base, although I don't know for sure. But I think they started there in the 90s.

100% agree. Marner would be a good call, only concern there would be his effect on the culture they're trying to build with this Chicago team.
