Couldn't tell what happened with McDavid. It doesn't matter whether the fall was accidental. There was lots of room to miss the goalie. Accidntal high stick, puck over glass are penalties.

Baffling how this core is allergic to starting well, be it season or in game. It must be frustrating as a fan, not to mention all the extra energy it takes, it's playing with fire and if an injury happens to #97 or #29, it's pretty much curtains.

It's not surprising. Frequently they miss calls and then end up calling a penalty on the that team. They may have felt there was embellishment and ignored it.
