Sometimes seems that way but I've never had him coach one of my teams. Getting to the finals was kind of a big deal. Him losing his mind in a game early in the season was main memory this year. I think it turned things after that.

Don't take El Jefe too seriously. PoMo, at this point, is a players coach. He has a system, once the team gets it, he more or less trusts his guys.

TSN has Frankie Corrado who's only tie to the NHL was being his team liked him so much they didn't want to waive him and lose him, but he wasn't good enough to play regularly for them.

And, to be fair, most of the time those guys weren't all stars when they played. Having listened to Denis Potvin for decades, seen Messier and Chelios' contributions to playoff broadcasts, give me a former AHLer.
