That defence infront of him is terrible, no one is even bothering to try and clear the crease or the screen.

Signing mid-season, it's almost certainly for the minimum.Aren’t hip injuries often difficult for players to come back from with their old mobility? He’s certainly a great enough playmaker to score some but skating and positioning is essentially to the Ava possession defensive and offensive game. I just feel like that’s risky unless he signs super cheap.
bergeron wasnt nearly the offensive player that matthews and marner are. bergeron is also probably the greatest defensive forward ever. the threat of an offensive player on the PK is overrated as well. top forwards these days contribute very little statistically while short handed. matthews has apparently never had a short handed point according to nhl.com.That’s not how it works. By that logic the Bruins should never used Bergeron and Marchand on the PK lol
It just takes one team desperate for depth willing to pay him more to drive the price upSigning mid-season, it's almost certainly for the minimum.
Great minds think alike!Dammit, I take my comment back. I thought I was being original
Well his work ethic, skating and tenacious play and forecheck is what am talking about. He is the type of guy that we needed both for regular season and playoffs. Canucks seem to have improved a lot with Bluegar, Suter, Lafferty and Hoglander in their bottom 6 compared to last year. I don't see any pylons here and all those additions are good defensively. He's a competent 4th line energy guy, a "beast" is probably about as loose of a word as one can give.
No.Great minds think alike!
Holy shit
Holy shit
Ok I didn’t see it was 6-4 but still decent
