Two things about the "Frozen Frenzy" I would change.

1 - Have it on a Saturday night. Tuesdays are dumb.

2 - Try to work it so that we have a bunch of rivalry games.

This is what winter Saturdays need, or a holiday. So much potential but wasted on dumping a day’s worth of hockey into like 7 hours.

I was thinking this as well. They should time these for Saturdays in the dead of winter. Cold, short days, nothing to do. Throw a nice slow cooker meal on and watch the games all day and night. It's going to be 80 degrees here today (15 above average) plus it's Tuesday. Not good timing at all

That won’t happen during college football season.

If you want to time it during a Saturday in the winter, it needs to either be the week before the Super Bowl (Which is usually the NHL All Star Break) or anytime after the Super Bowl. Football (College and Pro) basically take up weekends from now until the middle of February.
