I mean, Hughes injured is a legit first pairing on about any team.
But yeah Vancouver missed some key pieces. That was obvious. Our GDT had Brisebois-Myers as the first pair and that would've been an absolute disaster, even if Myers ended up playing a pretty good game.

It can be, when he's better than the next man up. And sometimes a good bottom six wing is better than a so-so top sixer.

Given what he went through in the offseason, it was expected. Still does a lot of good things when not scoring though.

That penalty on Hoglander was soft. Playoff style game, light shoves had been happening the whole night. I thought Anderson was supposed to be strong?
