I generally don’t buy that pro athletes don’t try their hardest.I don't think it would translate in the playoffs to be honest. Tampa is hardly trying, and they've still been the better team tonight
I wouldn't say Tampa is letting the Leafs win or anything, but you can't expect a team to put in 100% effort for 60 minutes in every game. especially a team like Tampa that has no real motivation to win other than pride. they've looked a bit sloppy and off all nightI generally don’t buy that pro athletes don’t try their hardest.
Even if Tampa is so far out in front, the entire team knows that playing vs the leafs is one of the measuring sticks in the east. If there’s any game over the past few that they should be up for, it should be this one.
I think Tampa isn’t use to teams attacking them as much as they themselves attack. That’s something that may adjust itself over a 7 game series, but it just seems this isn’t an optimal matchup for Tampa.
To be fair Marner was passed a rocket and an empty net to put it in too lolTwo fanned shots and two goals. Boo.
And about 1 minute 37 seconds for Toronto to retake the lead.
5v5 it's been pretty close to even....Your PP has definitely tilted things though. Is this where I say that the Leafs are lucky to be in this one? Because Andersen has been pretty sick.

This is where you assume that this is the way Toronto always plays and Andersen is the only player to be taken seriously. Doesn't hurt either if you say how easily we'd win them in the playoffs. Is this where I say that the Leafs are lucky to be in this one? Because Andersen has been pretty sick.
