True, but it's rough getting that close, and then losing out on the doorstep of the playoffs. Sometimes it's more how you lose versus actually losing. Like getting swept in the playoffs versus losing a game 7

I just remind myself about my expectations before the season. They were a bottom team who lost their best player under tragic circumstances. Add on top of that, a new coach, new GM and Boone Jenner went out early for almost the entire season.
They had every right to be the worst team in the league. Good for them to get where they got.
