They were definitely outplayed by Detroit.

You can say I’m bitter all you want. I’m not a wings cheerleader and I’d fire Yzerman this summer lol. We suck ass and other than drafting Yzerman is bad at everything else. I have no delusion that we are some good team. You are trying to gotcha me, I’m just discussing the habs lol

Def outplayed to a dry attack that score 1 goal in 60 minutes.

BADLY outplayed you even said in that bost. I don't agree, but let say I even give you that one.

Its 2 games in that 6 win streaks.

You said they were a lot. Its 1 in reality, two for you cause bitter... So yeah my first point stand. You are trying to minimize the feat. Cheers mate.

Ok dude. Idk why you’re so fixated on this. My opinion is the same regardless of what team I cheer for lmao

I like to hate Montreal, but I have to admit that I’m happy for their fans.

Say what you want about Montreal and their fans, but there’s no better place for NHL playoffs. I’m pretty sure 90% of players around the league would agree. This is where you want to play playoffs hockey.
Absolutely. That fan base is the most passionate in all of North American pro sports IMO. Despite the people triggered by me in this thread nobody deserves a cup in Canada more than the Habs. (Maybe the leafs)

Force fold the Sens because that's not really a team since Dorion left and put the Jackets in the playoffs instead.

You didnt watch both win over Florida and the win vs Boston.

You saw the last few games thats it. Just admit you were showing bias when saying they got b
...I'm...not there... :biglaugh:

I wouldn't mind.

I started watching hockey super young and before being too much into a franchise and into rivalry etc, I loved when parents were having dinner at friends and I was alone on the couch in the evening watching Saturday Night on CBC and it was always the Leafs. The 94-97 Leafs. I actually loved them. Growing up you realise that if you like one, you gotta hate the rival but deep down Leafs are my 2nd team. Sundin was nice to watch play during that stretch.

...I grew up watching the late 70's and 80's teams...the Leafs sucked for the entirety of the 80's and yet were on CONSTANTLY while our other, good teams were rarely shown nationally...nope, can't do it... :biglaugh:

For sure, it’s a nice milestone. Just not sure it says much about the team when they’ve been thoroughly outplayed in so many of their wins down the stretch. A lot of fluky wins.

Demidov, Huston, and Suzuki is a great nucleus to build around for sure.
And they’ve already gained valuable experience as to what it takes to win through this race for 8th. Now they get some playoff game experience, all a bonus for the young team not expected to be here.

Kinda surprised how many starters are in for the Oil
That's all they could ice. They couldn't even ice Connor Carrick who they called up on emergency basis due to cap and are playing with 5 D with Nurse suspended.

Draisaitl, Hyman, Frederic, Kane, Walman, Nurse are reportedly playing in Game 1 but aren't tonight.

Ah, ok. What a crazy set of circumstances that is. It’s like a scrimmage against the Sharks anyways

McDavid got his 100th point so shouldn't see much more ice time rest of the way.

There really isn't much left to play for tonight so should be a snoozefest
