They give then refs the 1st 3 players. Not sure if they can make a change.
Ah, I did not know that. Good to know, thank you.

Big-ish. Oil are missing McDavid, Draisaitl, Hyman, Ekholm, Walman (and Kane/Frederic).
Basically 2/3rds of their top 6 and their best defenceman.
Even if the Kings lost today, I don’t think they lose to both Seattle and Calgary in their final two.
You can't be serious!! That puck was in the net!! Chalk flew up!!!The optics of changing a call after the next attempt started is worse.
It might make them review shootout goals for 4 minutes and open another kind of whiningI agree. Perhaps they'll address it this off-season and make it similar to the NFL, where once the ball is snapped, the previous play can no longer be reviewed.
AgreeKee[p osting woirthless garbage. the refs can do whatever they want. i

Hey I thought you said you were a ref??Ah, I did not know that. Good to know, thank you.![]()

We can imagine . . . But I know how reviews divide fans.I can't imagine that a review of a shootout goal would take very long. There's not much to review.
Unless they try to make it to where a shooter stopping forward momentum is reviewable, which would be an entirely new can of worms to open, so they wouldn't go there.
El Jefe had to take the trash to the street. Tuesday is garbage dayIt's quiet in here without the disappearing Habs fans who posted more threads and comments the last week than all other fanbase put together. I hope they blow it, then we won't have to hear from them until September, except for a brief interlude in late June when they draft their next crop of 7 future Hall-of-farmers.
Carolina's mindset might be that they have a chance to eliminate the Habs. What if they let the Habs in, and face them in the 2nd round? Should have eliminated them when they could have.Habs are going to play a Carolina team that will be looking to avoid injury and will be resting have the team. Columbus is still cooked unless a miracle happens.
Habs were the home team though, it’s called “the show must go on”You can't be serious!! That puck was in the net!! Chalk flew up!!!
Good thing Torts isnt there anymoreColumbus will NOT have any gimmees in those last two games.
Despite the Flyers' struggles, John Tortorella is a coach that absolutely despises losing, and certainly won't play dead for anyone else's beneift.
And the Isles?
Well, they have a roster full of semi goons who want to hit everything they see, want to finish ahead of the Rangers just to spite them, and, they STILL think they have a chance at the playoffs!![]()
Agreed, pens were missed on each teams. Habs played bad, they didn’t play well enough consider their playoff lives were potentially on the lineRefs missed a clear high stick on a Hab. Later on gave the Habs a PP on a bull crap call. Habs blew a 2 goal lead at home against a bad team. Laine played horsehit disinterested hockey the entire game yet was still rewarded with a SO slot, where he made a joke lazy attempt. Habs have themselves to blame for that loss. Refs were the least of the Habs' problem in that game.
Despite that being the rule, it’s more egregious to ignore a goal you know is a goal, IMO.League butchered a call again. The rules state that a shootout call CAN'T be changed once the next attempt has started.
who gives a shit. A rule is a rule. if the mental midgets kin the office can't stop the play before the next shooter too bad. And refs and the league ignore things all the time if it suits them.Despite that being the rule, it’s more egregious to ignore a goal you know is a goal, IMO.
